I generally like expressing myself in vibrant colour through my art. So sometimes it's refreshing to take a break from all that colour. To concentrate on working solely in black & white.
Creating depth, expression and energy with a squeeze of black paint and a dollop of white, and mixing up greys.
And sometimes, given what's happening in the world, working in joyful colour doesn't feel right!
Mixed media (inks, fluid acrylics, charcoal, oil pastel) on heavyweight Fabriano paper.
