- 'Colouration XIX' is an original abstract painting created using a mix of techniques with layered acrylic paint and inks to create texture and depth.
This square abstract painting features a beautiful colour palette including metallic and iridescent paints on a gradient background, burgundy, red, cream, green and copper.
This painting is part of my 'Colouration' series which continues the theme of textile inspired paintings exploring the pattern of life, paths, and direction changes. I also use a drip effect technique representing the idea of loose and unfinished threads.
