I absolutely love turquoise! So, for this piece it was all about a celebration of that colour, also incorporating teal, very dark green mixes and white. And that little pop of pale pink and gold just makes it, don't you think?
Creating the painting involved many layers of acrylics, inks and pastels, with lots of fab mark making.
Mixed media (inks, fluid acrylics, collage, oil pastel) on heavyweight Fabriano paper.
